Where do we meet the boat?
Lake Austin boat rental guests board at the 360 boat ramp under the 360/Pennybacker Bridge on the south shore of Lake Austin, just 20 minutes from downtown
What about parking at the 360 boat ramp?
Parking is available at the 360 boat ramp park but it is limited and can be difficult, especially on weekends and holidays. We suggest using a rideshare service to and from your Austin boat rental. The 360 boat ramp park is a short ride from downtown Austin, the East Side and The Domain

What should I bring to my boat rental?
Sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, hat, water shoes, ice, drinks (no glass allowed per state law), snacks, five dollars cash per person to enter the boat ramp and proper ID if you plan to drink
How can I tip the captain?
You can show your appreciation to your captain via Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or with cash. Our captains work hard to make sure everyone has a great time during your Lake Austin boat rental. 15%-25% is customary
Is there a cooler on the boat?
Yes, There are two coolers on board including an XL 140 quart cooler.
Will we go to Party Cove?
Of course, that's where the party is!
Can I bring the kids?
Children are welcome! Please note that state law requires that anyone 13 years and under must wear a life jacket at all times while a boat is underway. Please let us now how many kids are in your party so we can provide the proper child/youth sized life jackets for your boat rental
What if I'm late for my Lake Austin boat rental?
No problem. Your captain will reach out an hour or two before your rental so you'll have his/her number. Just let your captain know what your ETA will be

Can I smoke on the pontoon boat?
Yes, but please be careful. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests, smoking or otherwise
What is the boat rental cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled rental for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled Austin boat rental will be rescheduled based on reservation availabilities
What if it rains?
It rarely rains in Austin, especially during the boating season. But if it does, your Austin boat rental will continue as scheduled. However, in the event of severe/dangerous weather your boat rental may be shortened. Rentals shortened due to severe/dangerous weather will be prorated and the difference will be refunded. Rentals cancelled by Bat City Boat Rentals for operational reasons other than weather will be fully refunded
Can you pick us up at the Walsh Boat Ramp?
There is a City of Austin ordinance against commercial operations at the Walsh Boat Landing
